Ben has earned the designation of Chartered Financial Analyst® awarded by the CFA Institute, and is a member of the CFA Society of Vermont. He holds a Bachelors of Arts degree from the University of Colorado and a PhD in Biology from Boston University.

Ben started his financial career in Boston as an equity analyst for a private investment fund and subsequently worked for a prominent socially responsible asset management firm. More recently, he worked as an investment research analyst for a Vermont-based asset management company.

Ben lives with his wife and two children in Burlington, where he is an active member of the community. He has served in various volunteer roles, including president of Burlington American Little League and the board of directors of the Vermont International Film Festival. In his free time he enjoys travel, hiking, skiing, tennis, and getting out on the lake with family and friends.
