Charitable Giving
Whether you have a long history of philanthropy or are just starting to think about the benefits of giving, we can help you create a specific giving plan aligned with your goals.
Our process around philanthropic planning is tailored to each family and typically begins with a four-pronged discovery process to:
1) Explore your values as they relate to money.
2) Review your philanthropic history, experiences, and influences
3) Identify your specific values and motivations for giving.
4) Evaluate any existing charitable giving plans.

A CLIENT STORY: Donald & Theresa
Donald and Theresa are small business owners. As their business continued to grow, they became increasingly interested in making charitable giving a larger part of their lives, but they were not sure of how to proceed. After several discussions on the topic, we developed a philanthropy plan for them that included establishment of a Donor Advised Fund.
Donald and Theresa transfer appreciated assets to the fund periodically and then grant the proceeds to their favorite charities. Administering their philanthropy in this way is low-cost, highly tax efficient, and convenient.*
